The Lone Star is an exclusive 5* boutique hotel, restaurant and bar, where its British owners have created a sophisticated and stylish retreat. A place where Jimmy Choos are often frequently seen, but certainly not a necessity. 

This beautifully presented and wonderfully staffed hotel offers four air-conditioned suites, each boasting terraces which overlook a stretch of immaculate West Coast beachline. Decorated in cool contemporary style, a collaboration of Italian soft pieces and local Bajan mahogany furniture awaits you in your privately welcoming sanctuary. Reflecting the Lone Star’s history, each suite is named in honour of an automobile legend: Cord, Studebaker, Lincoln and Buick.
Lone Star values quality of sleep for their guests, who fly in from across the globe; thus all rooms feature tranquil touches and huge comfortable beds, whilst bathrooms are punctuated with Philippe Stark fittings, white fluffy towels, robes and fragrant products. All of which promote the ultimate in relaxation and a wonderful nights rest. 

Built in the 1940’s, the Lone Star was originally a garage owned by car-enthusiast Romy Reid. At this time it was the only garage the west coast of the island which was licensed to sell petrol. Reid, who knew how to repair cars, quickly became a popular local celebrity, and ultimately created The Leeward Bus Company, operating buses throughout the West Coast. Reid’s workshop still exists, forming part of the reception area of the Lone Star restaurant. During WWII, he built a coral stone air-raid shelter, which today houses the properties extensive wine cellars. When dining at the Lone Stars ambient shore side restaurant you are certain to find the perfect choice of wine to compliment the attentively curated menu of inspired seasonal dishes.
